The location was marvellous, a 10-15 minute walk from Westwood park. The restaurant was magnificent which serves a decent breakfast, I tried freshly cooked dishes. The personnel was exceptional and courteous.

Beautiful old building, great pool
ONe of the accommodation buildings is a significant distance from main house and all facilities. And they charge for using the pool table!

We had an awesome getaway with my friends. We loved exploring the nearby hilltop monument and the award-winning museum dedicated to Roald Dahl. The beautiful walks and fine vistas made for great memories. Just a heads up, dining service can be slow, so plan for some delays.

Friendly staff in the breakfast area, nice ambience, room change possible
Errors in the implementation of the booking/commitments of the employees - caused loss of time, stress and expenses; swimming pool area unkempt, cold water supply defective (unfavourable after using the sauna); in some rooms the windows cannot be opened

The rooms were very small, view of an ugly roof, small windows and the bed was much too small. Sleeping in the stuffy room is not possible.

De Vere Latimer Estate is set in a fine location surrounded by beautiful countryside. The room was very comfortable, with modern amenities and a cozy decor. The indoor pool and sauna were great additions that added to our relaxation, and we enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast each morning.
Service at the bar was slow at times.

The room was excellent, as was the setting. The whole building was very characterful and the hotel had most facilities one could want.

The dining space at Latimer, 1889, had a lovely selection, and breakfast had a decent variety. The grounds offer fine views for a lovely stroll. The hotel radiates charm amidst the beautiful countryside.
The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, leading to long waits for our orders and confusion with drinks. The bar area could use a good scrub to up the vibe and professionalism. The leisure facilities also left much to be desired.
